The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) is the premier investigating organization of India. Working below the Public Grievances and Pensions, the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Personnel, the Central Bureau of Investigation is managed by the Director. Basically set up to examine bribery and official crime, in the year 1965 it got extended jurisdiction to review violations of fundamental laws enforceable by the Indian Government, multi-state associated corruption, international/multi-agency cases. The company has been recognized to examine several special crimes, economic crimes, evidence of corruption & other high-profile causes. CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) is released from the terms of the Act of Right to Information. CBI is India’s approved named a single point of communication for liaison with Interpol. The CBI main branch is located in CGO Complex, near Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (New Delhi).

The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) built a fame as India’s leading investigative agency with the support for complex cases, and it was asked to help the investigation of critical police cases/crimes like kidnapping, murder, and terrorism. In the year 1987, the Central Bureau of Investigation was split into the following categories: the Special Crimes Division, the Anti-Corruption Division, the Policy, the International Police Cooperation Division, the Economic Offences Division, the Administration Division, the Central Forensic Science Laboratory Division, and the Directorate of Prosecution Division.
