About Indian Air Force Jobs:

The Indian Air Force (IAF) was formally authorized on 8th Oct 1932. Its 1st ac flight arrived into being on 1st April 1933. It held the strength of 6 RAF-trained directors and 19 Havai Sepoys (air soldiers, literally). The aircraft record composed of 4 Westland Wapiti IIA Indian army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the ‘A’ Flight center of the prepared No.1 Squadron.

After 4 and half years, “A” Flight was in operation for the 1st time from Miranshah, in North Waziristan, to help the Army of India works on rebellious Bhittani tribesmen. While, in Apr-1936, a “B” Flight had likewise been made on the choice Wapiti. But, it was not till Jun-1938 that a “C” Flight was established to bring Number one Squadron apparently to full power, and this continued the sole Indian Air Force (IAF) order when World War II began, although staff strength had by now risen to 16 main officers & 662 men.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) VR was now initiated into the regular Indian Air Force, the only flights originally holding their marginal defence status, but with Japan’s entrance into the fight in the month of Dec, No. four Flight, with 2 Audaxes and four Wapitis, was dispatched to Burma to work from Moulmein. Sadly, 4 of the flight’s 6 aircraft were quickly lost to Japanese attack and, late in Jan-1942, No. four Flight gave area in Moulmein to No. three Flight which had when re-equipped with 4 ex-RAF Blenheim ls. For a period, these Blenheims were to give almost the sole air cover for vessels arriving at Rangoon shelter.
