Rail Wheel Factory-RWF (Previously known as Wheel and Axle Plant) is located in Bangalore (Karnataka), India. It is a state-of-the-art factory, meeting the majority of the lack of wheels, wheel sets, and axles for the Railways (India). The additional space available is effectively utilized to meet the national demands for non-railway exports & customers.

Rail Wheel Factory has achieved the ISO 14001 Environment Management system standard during the year 1996 over the 1st PU in Indian Railways to achieve.
RWF has achieved ISO 9002 quality administration system standard during the year 1994, and the 1st PU in Indian Railways to complete ISO 9002 system for the factory, the system was approved by M/s.BVQI, Mumbai (Maharashtra).
Rail Wheel Factory had achieved AAR-M-1003 best quality agreement certification for producing wheel and axle, for stock to North American Rail Roads throughout the year 1995 and re-certified every 3 years once till the year 2013.
Rail Wheel Factory has repeatedly become the 1st PU in Railways Of Indian to Combine ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 & ISO14001 system model through 2013 by M/s.IRQS, Mumbai (Maharashtra), and re-certified in the year 2016 by M/s.ICS, Mumbai.
